Interior Designer
Duties and Responsibilities:

United Floor Covering is seeking an Interior Designer. The qualified candidate must have a degree in Interior Design or a minimum of five years design experience, be exceptionally organized and have superior attention to detail. This designer will be working one on one with clients (residential and commercial), assisting them in choosing all types of flooring, tile, counter tops, etc.

This position involves project management of estimating, work orders and installment schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Strong communication skills on phone and in person when dealing with clients, installers and suppliers
* PC skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel software programs, Sketchup, email and internet
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work load
* Excellent trouble shooting skills


Full time -- Monday through Friday

Customer Relations Representative

Customer Relations Representative position providing product information of in-home flooring services to members of a large warehouse wholesaler.

This position is seasonal part-time, Wednesday through Sunday, two weeks per month January through October. Hours average 80+ per month

BASE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Must have reliable transportation to work in North Spokane, Spokane Valley and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

  • Be punctual in attendance and flexible with working hours

  • Maintain businesslike appearance and grooming

  • Must be able to communicate effectively

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet members in a courteous manner and explain and distribute in-home consultation informational pamphlet

  • Keep booth in a neat and orderly manner
